Role : Manual Testing 
Designation : QA Engineer 
Location : Ahmedabad 
Experience : 4 to 5 Years

About the Team

Responsibilities:

• Understand the product domain, application and feature functionality in detail.
• Very thorough in comprehensive and well-structured test cases/scenarios development.
• Testcase execution, testing and report defects in JIRA.
• Perform thorough regression testing, integration testing and at last system testing.
• Status reporting to RM and collaborate with the team to ensure consistent execution.
• Proactive in following entire STLC process.

Essential Skills – Abilities

• Ensure that defined processes are being followed and also contributes in improvising processes if needed.
• A very good team player with good analytical skill is essential.
• Well versed with Static & Dynamic testing.
• Proven work experience in Software testing and quality assurance in both desktop and mobile.
• Strong knowledge of S/W QA methodologies, Testing fundamentals, STLC process and SDLC.
• Experience writing clear, comprehensive, and concise test cases/scenarios, test checklist and RTM.
• Hands on experience on Black-box and grey-box testing.
• Well versed with any defect tracking tool and added advantage if test management tool is known.
• Experience working in AGILE/Scrum methodology.
• Should have basic understanding and knowledge on any relational database system.
• Good to have experience on API testing, load testing, compatibility testing, mobile web testing.
• Automation knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Experience with performance and/or security tool will be an added advantage.
