About your Custom Wall Art Prints
Turn bland walls into brilliant walls with your very own custom wall art prints and turn your home into your very own gallery. With a large range of sizes, shapes and orientations, you can make your own wall art for pretty much any space in your home. Choose between two paper options. Our smooth matte fine art paper 189 gsm, creates a smooth finish and is similar to traditional fibre content photographic papers. Our textured matte fine art paper 310 gsm is rough in texture, similar to watercolour paper, and is naturally off-white in colour. These heavyweight papers are strong and durable and give prints a high-quality, museum standard finish. Colours and details are vibrant and showstopping and provide a wonderful depth to your prints.
Because we use specialist archival inks when printing your personalised wall art, you are guaranteed a quality, lasting finish. When you keep your print in optimal conditions - out of direct sunlight and inside a frame behind protective glass, your black and white prints will last for 400 years without significant colour change and you colour prints will last for 200 years.

How your Custom Wall Art Prints are Made
Handmade in the UK from the finest materials, your new bespoke wall art will make a striking addition to your home. Our team of skilled craftsmen and print technicians take all the care in the world to produce your prints in the highest quality. Created using 300dpi prints, the final result of your personalised wall art is an incredible colour representation and fade-resistant vibrancy. Printed on acid and lignin-free paper to achieve archival standards, enormous colour gamut, and super bright true to life colours make any photo or artwork a true masterpiece. When your personalised wall art print is finished, it is carefully rolled and delivered to you in a cardboard tube, to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
You can choose to have your custom wall art prints sent either as it comes or cut on the line. Cut on the line will trim your personalised wall art print down so that it is cut right at the edge of your design whereas as it comes will be roughly cut with a barcode and job number on it - this allows you to cut it to size for your frame at home.
Design Tips
The best thing about designing your own custom wall art prints is that you can make it for any space - no matter how awkward, small or large. There are nine preset sizes to choose from, and better yet you can make your own wall art in a custom size so you truly can fill any space and make your decor stand out. Create a gallery wall by printing several custom wall art prints. This works so well if you have an custom wall art series that is meant to be seen as a whole. Print them in different sizes and orientations to really make a statement. As a tip, if you are planning on framing your personalised wall art, we recommend leaving a framing border. This is easily achieved by decreasing the size of your design and leaving white space around the whole of the image.

Print Guideline
-
What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
-
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
-
Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
-
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
-
What are the bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
-
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better, finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
-
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
-
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
-
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
How many sizes are the personalised wall art prints available in?
Your custom wall art is available nine different pre-set sizes. You can also create your own wall art custom size in different orientations and shapes, so you are sure to find the perfect size of customised artwork for your wall - no matter how big or small.
What paper is used in personalised wall art?
We have a choice between 2 premium papers. Our smooth matte fine art paper 189 gsm or our textured matte fine art paper 310 gsm. Our smooth paper is super-smooth and has a matte finish, making it perfect for photographic reproduction or fine art. Our textured paper is rough, similar to that of watercolour paper, and is naturally off-white in colour. Both are acid and lignin free to achieve archival standards.
Is the personalised wall art print permanent?
We print your own wall art in high-quality 300dpi prints. Our production method uses the best quality archival inks. These offer a long-lasting print, which lasts for hundreds of years when kept in optimal conditions.
