Care instructions
To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.

About Your Custom Leather Valet Tray
There are three size options for your custom trinket dish: the smallest size is approx 12x12cm, medium is approx 15x15cm, and the largest size is approx 18x18cm. The height of the sides measures approx 3.5cm tall for all sizes. You can choose between smooth or textured Nappa leather, both of which will work as an incredible canvas for your design. Our innovative printing technique uses eco-friendly inks to print the leather without changing its authentic feel. There are multiple colours to choose from for the thread and edge colour. We use the thread to stitch both pieces of leather together, and then hand-paint the edges to finish off the custom leather valet tray.

How Your Custom Trinket Dish Is Made
We start crafting your custom trinket tray by printing your designs onto the leather. Our industry-leading printing technique prints your design in vibrant colours, and the inks bond to the leather itself. Once we have both pieces of printed leather, our leatherworkers cut them to size and stitch them together. The snap buttons are added on the corners, and the edges are painted for a clean finish that really ties the piece together. The result is a custom leather valet tray that is gorgeous and functional.
Design Tips
Bear in mind that with the sides of the custom leather valet tray folded up, the design will bend with it. We recommend keeping important components away from these folds and towards the centre instead. The fold lines will be visible in the design interface so that you can see exactly where your design will sit. For the bottom, only the sides of the print will be visible when the tray is folded and resting on a surface. Since they fold up from the bottom, the orientation of the print will be different on each side and therefore not always upright. This is a great place to print a repetitive complementary design or bold colour.
How does this product enhance my...
Home
For things lying around on dressers, tables, or counter tops, a custom leather valet tray is a stylish way to keep everything in one place. You'll have easy access to all the bits you need, like jewellery, desk supplies, trinkets, notes, keys, and anything else you need to keep tidy.
Business
A custom trinket dish is a fantastic addition to any office space. Printed with your company logo and colour scheme, the trays can rest on tables around the office or employee desks to keep notes, pens, and other office supplies tidy.
Design Brand
For your online store, you can print different designs that complement each other to show off your work. If you sell your work at pop-up stores or market stalls, then these leather trays are a great way to keep your set-up organised without compromising on the aesthetics.
Print Guideline
-
What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
-
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
-
Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
-
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
-
What are the bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
-
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better, finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
-
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
-
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
-
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
What size is the custom trinket tray?
The leather tray comes in three sizes: 12x12cm, 15x15cm, and 18x18cm, all three sizes being approx. 3.5cm tall. All measurements are approximate.
How do the sides stay up?
There are small popper buttons in the corners that snap together to keep the sides in place. This will prevent anything from rolling out of your custom leather valet tray.
What can I use it for?
Anything you need, really! You can organise jewellery, desk supplies, pens, coins, keys, craft supplies, and more with your custom trinket dish.
