Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. Repeated turning or working may affect the digital print, always test your processes on a sample first. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.

How Your Custom Leather Sunglasses Case Is Made
Once you have designed your custom leather glasses case, our expert team of leather workers will get to work printing your designs onto the leather of your choice.
A lining piece of faux suede will be hand sewn onto the other side of the leather, and the full piece will be folded to create a soft loop that will create the pouch.
The folded leather is then stitched into place by our leather workers using a coloured 40 gauge thread of your choosing, and the edges are hand-painted using multiple layers of edge paint in the same colour as the thread. Protecting your case as well as adding the premium finishing touch.
The inner label is printed as part of the inner collar, and your custom leather sunglasses case is complete.
Design Tips
As the custom leather glasses case is made using a single piece of leather that is folded, it is important to ensure that no integral details of your design are in line with the fold. If you are using a repeated design with intricate detailing all the way through, your design should look great anywhere on the glasses case. However, if you are using large logos or photos, you may want to consider using two photos / designs side by side so that the fold is in line with where your two designs meet.
You can also choose what finish you would like for the leather: There is an option of smooth or textured leather available. You can see how your design will look on either of these textures using the 'product view' in our design interface.
Once you are happy with your designs, you can also choose from five colours for your edge paint and thread. You can choose from charcoal, cream, brown, red or blue. Use a colour that is closest to the colour of your design if you do not want your stitching to stand out.
Lastly, you have the option to personalise the inside label of your custom leather sunglasses case. If you are designing these glasses cases for your shop, you could easily add your logo to the inner label, so that your customers will always remember where they bought their beautiful glasses pouch from.
How will this product enhance my
Home
If you only need your glasses for reading, or want to keep a spare pair of sunglasses in your car, a custom leather glasses case is just what you need. Keep it near your favourite armchair so you can easily reach for glasses when you need them.
Business
If you are a specialist glasses company, or a store that offers reading glasses, why not provide customers their new glasses in a branded glasses case? The custom leather sunglasses cases are perfect for adding little bit of marketing to every purchase.
Design Brand
If you have a design brand or create your own artwork, print your pieces onto a range of leather glasses cases. You can brand each item by printing your logo onto the white inner label. Glasses cases are a great little product to add to your dropshipping store, or to offer at your next exhibition or market stall.
Print Guideline
-
What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
-
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
-
Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
-
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
-
What are the bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
-
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better, finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
-
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
-
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
-
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
How big will my custom leather glasses case be?
Each glasses case is 9cm x 18.5cm.
How do I care for my glasses case?
You can easily wipe down the glasses case with a damp cloth to get rid of dust and dirt.
Can I brand the glasses case
Yes, you can either use logos on your glasses case design, or subtly print your logo onto the inner white label.
