Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.

How we make your custom camera bag
Each and every leather camera bag is handmade in house and on demand. Our expert team of print technicians, leather workers, and seamstresses will ensure that your creation will meet our high quality standard.
After your order has been received, our craft print leather finishers digitally print your designs onto the leather of your choice using a special process that will make the print just as hardwearing as the leather itself. The printed pieces are then cut to size and stitched together using the thread colour have selected. Black leather piping is added around the front and back panels, giving your designs a framed appearance. We then add the zip pullers and the strap which feature hand-painted edges, providing durable edge protection to your camera bag. These are made from smooth black leather, ensuring the printed body is always the first thing to catch the eye. The strap can be attached with a non-removable chain or a removable clip, which you can select in the design interface. All metal hardware is available in gold, silver, or gunmetal colour to give you full freedom to design your item just as you like.
Before dispatch our quality control team will give your bag a final once over to ensure that you are perfectly satisfied.
Everything is made in our London based facility, and produced by our own staff. The team has years of experience making leather goods and use only the best tools. The level of customisability within the bag shows just how personal your product can be. It will truly be one of a kind.
Design tips
When you design your own camera bag you can not only choose the print for every single panel but you also are in charge of the details. Choose between three thread colours for the body of the bag, to match your design perfectly or select a contrasting colour. You even have a choice of colour for the metal hardware: Choose gold, silver, or gunmetal hardware, depending which one works the best with your design.
Using our unique design interface you can select all of these options and check which one you like best. With a live 3D preview you are able to get the perfect idea of how your finished camera bag will look like, ensuring you are happy/when you receive the final product.
How does this product enhance my...
Home
When you design your own camera bag you create the perfect companion for a number of occasions. The practical size makes an ideal bag for storing essentials such as phone, keys, and glasses when running errands, or make up on a night out. Select the option with a removable strap to also use your camera bag as a clutch bag.
Business
Grow your brand by designing high quality leather bags that are not only super stylish but useful too. Printed with the name of your company, your logo, or a pattern that references your logo's colour scheme you can use the bags as a gift for loyal customers and new clients alike. They don't have to be empty: Fill them with goodies, product samples, or even a post card with a nice quote or message.
Design Brand
Step away from the classic canvas or art print and highlight your designs on this luxurious leather camera bag. As you can design every panel of the bag separately, select different colours for stitching and choose separate finishes for the metal hardware, you really are 100% in control of your creation. You could even design a whole range of limited edition products for your fans to collect. As every item is handmade on demand, your customers will not only be impressed by the print but also by the quality of the finished item.
Print Guideline
-
What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
-
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
-
Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
-
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
-
What are the bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
-
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better, finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
-
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
-
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
-
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
What is the exterior of the bag made from?
When you design your camera bag you have the option between smooth or textured Nappa leather. Both options are 100% high quality leather that will print your designs perfectly.
What colour will the strap be?
Our printed camera bags all come with black piping, zip pulls, and a black leather strap. The sides of the strap are also hand painted black. The leather we use for these accessories has a smooth, warm surface.
Which parts of the bag can I design?
You can design the front, the back and the sides of your camera bag separately. The zip pullers and leather strap are always made from smooth black leather but you have the choice between silver, gold, or gunmetal coloured metal hardware.
